Cincinnati Dockers Take on All Comers in Wisconsin Tournament

The Cincinnati Dockers Australian Rules Football Club will continue their 2012 season this Saturday when they go on the road to compete in the Milwaukee Bombers Invitational in Wisconsin. Cincinnati will play two games in the 12-14 division in this round robin tournament, both against familiar opposition.

The Dockers’ first match in the tournament will be at 1 PM CDT against the Des Moines Roosters. Revenge will be on the minds of the Dockers in this match. When these two teams last met, the Roosters narrowly upset the Dockers 28-24 in the Best of the Midwest tournament last August in Kansas City. Their second match will be against an extremely familiar foe in the Milwaukee Bombers. This match will take place at 3 PM CDT.

As a reminder, the United States Australian Football League (USAFL) announced that Mason, OH will host the 2012 USAFL National Championship Tournament this October. This tournament, to take place at Heritage Oak Park on East Main Street, is the largest of its kind in the world, featuring over 1000 athletes competing for over 40 teams from all across the USA and Canada.
