Dockers Go 1-1 in Louisville |

The Cincinnati Dockers Australian Rules Football Club began their 2009 USAFL season this past Saturday, going 1 and 1 in the Shield Division in the John Harrell Memorial Cup tournament in Louisville, Kentucky, defeating the Nashville Kangaroos 55-39 and falling to the eventual champions, the Columbus Jackaroos, 59-50. |

Schedule Changes vs. Columbus |
Please note the following changes in the schedule for the Cincinnati Dockers 2009 season:
- The May 30th match at Columbus has been cancelled.
- The July 25th match vs. Columbus in Cincinnati has been rescheduled to August 1st and has been moved to Heritage Oak Park in Mason, OH. The Ohio Valley/Columbus match will now be a curtain-raiser for the two USA/Canada International matches on that day. Time TBA. |

Dockers Set Out To Defend 2008 Championship |
The Cincinnati Dockers Australian Rules Football Club will begin their unprecedented 13th consecutive season on April 25th at the John Harrell Memorial Cup tournament in Louisville, Kentucky, as they begin to defend their 2008 USAFL Division 4 National Championship.
As part of the John Harrell Memorial Cup, the Dockers will participate in a one day round-robin tournament with two other teams in the “Shield” division, consisting of the Columbus Jackaroos and the Nashville Kangaroos. Each game will consist of two 20-minute halves, while the games will take place at Champions Park on River Road, just south of the Ohio River. The Dockers’ first match against Nashville will begin at 1 PM, and their second match against Columbus begins at 3 PM. |

Meet the Dockers at Christy's |
To kickoff the 2009 season, the Cincinnati Dockers will be at Christy's Rathskeller & Biergarten in Clifton this Thursday (March 26th) at 5:30 PM. Anyone interested in joining us this season is encouraged to attend. The Dockers will either be downstairs or outside (weather permitting).
Christy's can be located at 151 West McMillan Avenue in Clifton, OH near the campus of the University of Cincinnati. |
